Descriptive statistics used to find mean, standard deviation and frequency for independent and dependant variables. Pearson correlation used to identify the relation between the variables. Regression analysis is used to identify the strength of the relation between personality traits and occupational stress. Chi square test used to identify the significant relations between demographic profiles and occupational stress, personality traits. This study aims to find out the relation between personality traits and occupational stress among the Tamilnadu police constables. It also helps, how personality traits can be used to generate effective stress coping strategies.
