The institutional credit has considered playing a key role in the agricultural development of India.A large number of institutional agencies are involved in the payment of credit to agriculture. The relevant data have taken from Handbook of Statistics on the Indian economy (2014) and Report on state of Indian agriculture (2014). Research period is 1990-91 to 2013-2014.
